I'm Missy. I live and work in Boston.
By day, I manage the studio and some really cool projects—like ArchitectureBoston Magazine—at Stoltze Design. In my spare time, I write about women in history and the outdoors, edit and make zines, and illustrate whatever comes to mind (or my inbox).
I came to Boston by way of Wisconsin, where I was born and raised. I studied marketing and professional writing at the University of Wisconsin, then moved out east to get my master's degree in publishing from Emerson College. Since I'm used to winter and I like what I get to do here, I'm sticking around.
Other hobbies include tending to my houseplants, reading, and distance running. I'm finding the most enjoyment in rubber plants, short stories, and half marathons these days.
Check out more of my resume on LinkedIn, Drop me a line about an illustration commission—heck, you can even shop with me over at Glossier (I'm a rep!) if you want. What a time to be alive!
Thanks for stopping by.
